SUSAN OLSEN
Susan Olsen has had extensive experience with pharmaceutical marketing and product development, both domestically and globally. Susan's seven years with Syntex International enabled her to become familiar with issues involving the changing needs of healthcare systems on a worldwide basis. Susan has a broad spectrum of experience, including six years of tracking and analyzing Ticlid and Cardene performance on a worldwide basis, and assessing market potentials for a multitude of Phase II or earlier stage research compounds. She has developed a working knowledge of key issues in a number of therapy areas, including cardiovascular, CNS, endocrine, respiratory, pain, and antiviral/immunosuppression. Susan's work has included numerous multi-country primary marketing research studies, and she is extremely familiar with the secondary information sources commonly used in the pharmaceutical industry.

Her 25 years of industry experience includes marketing management as well as marketing research and strategic planning experiences with 3M and SmithKline Instruments.


MARIA RUGANI
With over 25 years of increasing professional responsibility and achievement in the health care sector, Maria Rugani is keenly suited to consult in product development and marketing for health care products and services.

Maria has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, in both international and domestic arenas. In her career at Syntex, Inc. Maria's scope of responsibilities included: the worldwide pricing and reimbursement strategies for products in development, the marketing research associated with product launches in the US, the marketing and sales strategies and tactics for the US managed care customer segment, and the pricing of products marketed domestically. Along with these responsibilities, Maria developed expertise in worldwide pharmaceutical pricing and reimbursement, the US-based managed care marketplace, both strategic and technical aspects of primary and secondary market research, and the design and implementation of analytical processes to enhance organizational decision-making. Maria has specific knowledge of a host of therapeutic areas, including but not limited to: cardiovascular, infectious disease, cerebrovascular, oncology, AIDS/HIV, and conditions related to women's health care. Maria also has experience in the health care service sector. In her marketing and strategic planning role at Stanford University Hospital, Maria supported the creation and expansion of a number of services related to surgery, psychiatry, cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, and neurology and neurosurgery. In addition, as a chemist and market researcher at Syva Company, Maria gained valuable knowledge in the medical diagnostics industry. Her days "on the bench," coupled with her marketing experience, provide her with a rich perspective applicable to the medical instrumentation and device industries. Maria complements her professional experience with a MBA from Carnegie-Mellon University and an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Occidental College.


Walter Moretto III
Walter has been with WWMR, Inc. for four years, bringing a scientific background to market research and strategic consulting projects. His experience in the health care industry is complemented by his extensive research experience.

Walter has conducted primary and secondary market research in a wide range of therapeutic areas including oncology, pain and immunologic-based diseases with various audiences including physicians, scientists, patients and payers.

Prior to WWMR, Walter conducted laboratory and clinical research in HIV and other viral diseases as a Sr. Research Associate at the Gladstone Institute of Virology and Immunology in San Francisco and was also involved in intellectual property research for a novel diagnostic platform. As a Research Associate at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center / Rockefeller University in New York his responsibilities included analysis of HIV developmental vaccines. He has coauthored 14 scientific publications in the area of immunology, published in Cell, Journal of Immunology, and Journal of Virology among others and has presented at international scientific conferences.

Walter has a B.S. in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland.

William Rubin, Ph.D.
Will has a strong background in science with over 14 years of research experience in the field of neuroscience. He has co-authored 8 articles in journals such as Neuron and the Journal of Neuroscience on subjects ranging from spinal cord development to retinal function.

Will has a B.A. from Northwestern University in the Integrated Science Program and earned his Ph.D. from Duke University in the Department of Neurobiology. Prior to coming to work for WWMR, he was a post-doctoral scientist at the University of California, Davis as well as an instructor at Duke where he taught both undergraduate and graduate level courses. In addition to his experience in neuroscience, Will has expertise in molecular, cellular and developmental biology.
